Quail
Harmony Ranch has some of the highest populations of WILD Bobwhite Quail in Baylor County. We do not release pen-raised birds. Our quail are closely managed year-round to allow you to experience the thrill and challenge of shooting wild quail. You are GUARANTEED to flush WILD birds if you book our two day package. Your more than welcome to bring your own bird dogs.
The terrain consists of mesquite pastures, native grass pastures, creek bottoms, cover near agricultural fields, food plots, and around watering holes. We have great water sources that never go dry, natural feeding areas, food plots, and thick cover that allow our quail to sustain high numbers. Our coveys average 15-20 birds and sometimes you will flush a covey with over 30 birds.
A typical day is starting at sunrise, break for a short lunch, and hunt more in the evening. Coveys will not be flushed more than twice. This allows the quail to regroup and decreases the chances of predators picking off the singles.

If you are under 9 years of age, you must be accompanied while hunting. Age 9 through 16, you must successfully complete a hunter education course, or you must be accompanied while hunting. Age 17 and over, you must successfully complete a hunter education course, or purchase a “Hunter Education Deferral” and you must be accompanied while hunting.

Deposit
A 50% (NON REFUNDABLE) deposit is required at the time of booking. If client has to cancel the date booked. The deposit will be applied to a different date if you cancel 30 days prior to trip. Deposits will be forfeited if you cancel within 30 days before booked date. No dates will be firm booked until receipt of deposit. The remaining balance is due upon arrival.
